Le département de l’immigration et de la protection des frontières (DIPB) a publié la nouvelle Skilled Occupations List (SOL), la liste de métiers en demande, pour la période 2016-2017. Cette démarche est mise en œuvre afin que l’immigration puisse répondre aux besoins économiques de l’Australie.
Cette liste entrera en vigueur le 1er juillet 2016.
La Skilled Occupations List donne accès aux visas d’immigration suivants : le Skilled Independent visa (189), le Skilled Regional Provisional Visa (489) et le Graduate Temporary Visa (485).
Le département de l’immigration et de la protection des frontières a également publié la Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List (CSOL), qui donne accès aux visas suivants : le Skilled Nominated Visa (190), le Temporary Work Skilled Visa (457) et l’Employer Nominated Scheme (186).
La SOL et la CSOL se distinguent par les différents visas auxquelles ces listes permettent d’accéder. Notons, toutefois, que les métiers mentionnés dans la SOL le sont également dans la CSOL mais pas l’inverse.
