2023 French-Australian Excellence Awards: The finalists / The nominees

For the third year, Le Courrier Australien is organising a readers’ prize to reward French and Australians in Australia who have distinguished themselves in a particular field.

After a meticulous evaluation process, it is with great excitement that we present the outstanding nominees who have reached the pinnacle of excellence in their respective fields. The competition was incredibly close, showcasing the remarkable talent and achievements within our community. Thank you again to our jury’s members for their input.

We are delighted to announce the outstanding winners of the prestigious French-Australian Excellence Awards.

After deliberation by the judging panel and careful evaluation of the votes cast by Le Courrier Australien readers, the finalists were celebrated the 7th oh December 2023 at the Awards Ceremony in the NSW Parliament in front of an audience of more than 150 people, including many honourable guests (The Honourable Natalie Ward MLC, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party, Shadow Minister for Transport and Roads, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure MC, Shadow Minister for the Illawarra and South Coast and Chair of the NSW Parliamentary Friends of France, Trish Doyle MP, Member for Blue Mountains Deputy Chair of the NSW Parliamentary Friends of France, Martin Juillard, consul Général de France à Sydney, Zoe McKenzie MP, Federal Member for Flinders, co-chair of Australia-France Parliamentary Friendship Group et Jerome Laxale MP, Federal Member for Bennelong, Chair of Australia-France Parliamentary Friendship Group), CEOs and prominent figures from the French-Australian community.

The winners in the various categories were announced in front of an enthusiastic audience and recognised for their outstanding achievements and contributions in a variety of fields.
