The kick-off of the fourth edition of the French-Australian Excellence Awards is just around the corner. From emerging talents to entrepreneurs and public figures, the French-Australian Excellence Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals to French-Australian relations and society across Australia.
The French-Australian Excellence Awards have become a testament to the enduring bond between France and Australia and to the tireless efforts of those who strive to strengthen this connection.

In 2020, François Vantomme, Director of LCANews (Le Courrier Australien), successfully launched the first edition in spite of the challenges of the pandemic. Since then, the Awards have grown impressively with wide-reaching support from both the French and Australian communities. Catapulting on the successes of the last three editions, the fourth edition promises to deliver even more, taking the Awards’ success further into the future.
The 2024 French-Australian Excellence Awards are growing, and so does the team!
With the growth of the Awards, the support from the Community has been overwhelming, from individuals to small business, partners and sponsors. This growth is being managed by the expanding core team, built upon common values and motivated by a common vision, initiated by Francois Vantomme
Xavier Heyman, a French national residing in Australia for over 15 years, has brought forward his exceptional business expertise while Elizabeth Sellars, an Australian National fluent in French, volunteers her expertise in Communication. Their invaluable contributions are fundamental in promising this year’s successful Awards.
François Vantomme stated: “We definitely have a winning team this year. We are very excited to announce the categories for nominations very soon. Reflecting the growth in our vision, we will have more than ten prestigious categories to announce. We believe that with collaboration this French-Australian community will grow stronger than ever”
