After deliberation by the judging panel and careful evaluation of the votes cast by Le Courrier Australien readers, the finalists were celebrated at the Awards Ceremony in the NSW Parliament in front of an audience of more than 150 people, including many honourable guests (The Honourable Natalie Ward MLC, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party, Shadow Minister for Transport and Roads, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure MC, Shadow Minister for the Illawarra and South Coast and Chair of the NSW Parliamentary Friends of France, Trish Doyle MP, Member for Blue Mountains Deputy Chair of the NSW Parliamentary Friends of France, Martin Juillard, consul Général de France à Sydney, Zoe McKenzie MP, Federal Member for Flinders, co-chair of Australia-France Parliamentary Friendship Group et Jerome Laxale MP, Federal Member for Bennelong, Chair of Australia-France Parliamentary Friendship Group), CEOs and prominent figures from the French-Australian community.
The winners in the various categories were announced in front of an enthusiastic audience and recognised for their outstanding achievements and contributions in a variety of fields.
A special tribute was also paid posthumously to Maria Karvouni, who left a tremendous legacy in education in Victoria.
