Australia’s central bank cut its interest rate on Tuesday for the first time in over four years. All four of Australia’s largest banks followed suit.
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has lowered its interest rate by 0.25 points to 4.10%, the first time this has happened since November 2020, a few months ahead of the general election scheduled for May.
