Nine female artists are honored in this new exhibition, on view from February 1.
Opened just a few months ago, Art Atrium 48 is already hosting its fourth event. On the program: nine artists present works exploring “the profound intersections of creativity, identity and existence”.
In this exhibition, entitled neXXus: Nine Women Artists, Jacqueline Balassa, Julia Flanagan, Kaye Mahoney, Rhonda Dee, Ros Auld, Sophie Dunlop, Seong Cho, Sue Field, and Teena McCarthy navigate their own artistic journeys to offer a universal vision of art. Cultural identity, surrealism, memory, and the rediscovery of our natural world will all be addressed in this contemplative and unifying experience.
A conversation between five of the nine artists will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, between 2:30 and 4:30 pm.
The opening, in the presence of the artists, will occur on Saturday, February 1, between 2:30 and 4:30 pm, at Art Atrium 48.
